Big Girl!

Amelia had her 18 month check up today. She is doing wonderful. Her height is 35 1/2 inches, which is greater than 100th percentile for girls her age. She is usually off the charts for height. She weighs 28lbs 6oz., which is in the 80th percentile. "She is a big girl for her age" to quote her pediatrician:) She remembered the doctors office this visit. When we walked back to the examine room she protested out loud and then sat on the floor. She also refused to stand on the scale to be weighed. She definitely has a mind of her own and knows what she likes and dislikes:)

Her vocabulary is growing everyday. She will try to repeat almost anything you say. We bought a Dora pottyseat this week. She was saying "Dora" and trying to sing the intro song to the cartoon. The funny thing, she has never seen the cartoon. She has a Dora sit and spin that sings.
